Shift brain waves state out of beta into alpha waves (flow states)
Why mobility matters (and how to develop it!)

Anchor elevated states in your body through specific gestures
Explore guided movement meditations that complement your sitting practice
Learn my #1 favorite somatic practice for nervous system health and integration

Why Movement Matters

I believe our inner meditation practice should be connected and synergistic with our physical movement practice!

Some of us spend hours in meditation working with the mind...and true transformation involves the body too!

I struggled to meditate for over a decade until learning a simple somatic movement practice that actually allowed me to sit comfortably.

This workshop will give you the tools to more fully embody your transformational healing journey.

About Dae:

I bring 15+ years of teaching experience blending movement, mobility, somatics, and neuroscience to help people move better, feel better, and transform their nervous system (and therefore the rest of their lives).

I am the founder of Mixed Movement Arts and our core programs: RESET: Maps & Movement Practices to Rewire Your Nervous System and Mobility Project: The Most Effective Methods to Develop Strong, Usable Flexibility.

I created and taught “Movement Tools for Healthcare Practitioners” at UCSF Medical School and Bastyr University where I served as a Teacher Assistant for cadaver lab gross anatomy and neuroanatomy for two years. I hold a B.S. in Human Biology with an emphasis in Anatomy, have completed doctorate-level training in anatomy, physiology, and neurology, was named 2017 Student of the Year by the International Association of Functional Neurology and Rehabilitation (2017–2019), and presented at the “Movement and Cognition” conference at Harvard Medical School in 2018.

I am also a Functional Range Conditioning certified Mobility Specialist. I am continually deepening my expertise in neuroscience, anatomy, trauma healing, and somatic-based movement practices. My background spans Movement Culture, contact improvisation, freeform dance, authentic movement, Qi Gong, circus arts, Gaga dance, and Continuum, integrating somatics, trauma-informed practice, and wisdom traditions into movement practice.

Disclaimer:

This is an independent project created by Dae Gallina of Mixed Movement Arts. It is not affiliated with, sponsored by, or officially connected to Dr. Joe Dispenza or his organization.

I was deeply inspired to create this offering after my own breakthrough experiences at Dr. Joe’s recent week-long retreat.
