The Mobility Project
Learn the MOST Effective Methods
to Develop STRONG Flexibility

Saturday, October 10
4:30–7:30pm
SHIFT Movement & Healing Arts
3517 Stone Way N, Seattle

The secret to flexibility is building trust with your nervous system by progressively developing more strength at your end range of motion. Approaching mobility (aka strong flexibility) like strength work– with sets and reps– will yield far better results than passive or static stretching. AND most people find they feel quite good with this type of training and their overall movement capabilities and quality significantly improves.

WHAT WE’LL WORK ON:

•Assessment– Getting a baseline + how to track progress

•Best place to start– The forward fold, the deep squat, & the straddle pancake are three most useful entry points, and the ones that develop fastest.

•Top methods– from Loaded Progressive Stretching to Controlled Articular Rotations to elasticity development– and how Fascial Maneuvers can amplify the process

•Intro to Splits and Bridging

•Pro-tips for best results

•Linear vs Organic Mobility

•Tips on building your own program
